Fall is one of the best times to enjoy what Winoga has to offer. Weather it's moose hunting or muskie fishing, Winoga guests can expect the best. Here's just a few pictures that showcase some of the incredible experiences from the Fall of 2019.
Spring is coming!
According to the calendar spring is here, but looking outside it's still winter in northwestern Ontario. With opening day about 5 weeks away, the ice will just have gone out. This 'late ice out' scenario always results in incredible walleye fishing! Some May and early June spots are available so give us a call to set up a trip. Ask about a guided trip with Troy, Dick or Ben for an incredible experience in one of our guide boats.
For guests heading to our Raggedwood Outpost this summer, you'll be happy to know we've had satellite internet installed over the winter. Enjoy all the perks of WiFi while still being alone in the wilderness.
Also, check out the Rates page here on Winoga.com as there have been some rate increases for the 2019 season.
Here's a look at some of the highlights from our guides and guests during the ice season. How about this enormous Northern Pike caught by Winoga guest Chris from Illinois. What a giant!
2018 Season Wrap-up Report
The 2018 Season is officially over at Winoga Lodge. The ice came in early this year, freezing across to Winoga Island in the first week of November.
Frigid temperatures continue this week while works starts on a new Pole Building near the end of the Winoga driveway. Things will look a little different next season when you pull in the driveway with a 40-foot x 100-foot structure on the left side. It will be used for dry storage for boats and equipment.
With the mercury dropping, we're already thinking about ice fishing. Get in touch soon to book a winter fishing adventure with Winoga Lodge. For more information visit our ice fishing page here.
